BIOGRAPHY
Laurie DeYoung's practice is concentrated in the areas of general and complex commercial litigation with particular emphasis on disputes arising out of contractual agreements, employment and financial transactions. Ms. DeYoung has represented Fortune 500 companies and national and international financial institutions and major universities in litigation matters involving protection of trade secrets, intellectual property, covenants not to compete, discrimination and harassment, as well as complicated contract disputes and unfair business practice and class action litigation brought under California Business & Professions Code Section 17200. Ms. DeYoung has handled matters that were resolved by mediation, arbitration and trial; she also has had matters resolved before the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. Ms. DeYoung also has substantial experience in the fields of professional and products liability.
Ms. DeYoung has been named a Southern California Super Lawyers "Rising Star" by Los Angeles Magazine in 2005 and 2006.
